Managing inventory and fulfillment in multiple locations on Shopify

As businesses scale and grow, managing and tracking inventory and fulfillment across multiple storefronts and warehouse locations can be challenging. Today, Shopify introduced Locations, a multi-location management feature inside the platform that allows business owners to allocate and track inventory across all the places where you store or fulfill inventory.

Whether your inventory is housed in retail storefronts, warehouses, pop-ups, dropshipping facilities or a home basement, this new feature lets you track inventory at every location on desktop, mobile and Shopify POS to tracking and fulfillments much easier.

Merchants no longer have to worry about long spreadsheets and time-consuming manual tracking processes. With Locations, they’ll be able to easily track their inventory across all locations and have more time to focus on growing their business.
